| The
Pride of Sherwood is an Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat. This
boat was funded as a result of a county-wide
appeal in the late-1990's. Since being officially named
on 5th June 1999, the boat has served in the RNLI relief fleet.
This means the boat can be sent to any RNLI station to act
as cover when the station's boat is off service.
Where has She Been?
So far, The Pride of Sherwood has seen service
in lifeboat stations around the UK and Republic of Ireland
including St Catherine's in Jersey and Mabelthorpe on the
Lincolnshire coast (one of the closest stations to Nottinghamshire).
