ANNOUNCEMENT
At the annual general meeting of the Worksop
RNLI Guild on Thursday 12th June 2003 it was agreed that sadly
the time had come to close.
After 23 years of dedicated fundraising on
behalf of the lifeboats, age had finally caught up with the
committee and it was felt by all that it was too onerous to
continue.
On behalf of the RNLI, I would like to thank
all the members of the committee and their loyal supporters
who have worked so hard over so many years.
Hopefully at some stage in the future a new
branch can be formed and the proud tradition of lifeboat support
in Worksop can continue.
